Employees operated the press in fully automatic mode, at which time the barrier guarding  on the exit portion of the press did not prevent the employee from reaching the point of operation. Openings in the guarding did not meet the specifications of table O-10 of the standards.

Atlantic Tool  & Die Company was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1910.147(c)(7)(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1652561 , citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on  3/23/2023, with respect to a workplace located at 4995 Atlantic Drive, Seville, OH 44273.
