For each employee engaged in a task identified on Table 1, the employer did not fully and properly implement the engineering controls, work practices, and respiratory protection specified for the task on Table 1: a) Worksite was located at 1616 Lake Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 Two workers were exposed to silica hazards as they were dry cutting concrete block without using proper engineering controls and work practices such as wet process cutting or vacuum dust collection. The workers were also not utilizing proper personal protective equipment such as respirators. Violation was observed on or about February 7, 2025. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
