29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) Worksite was located at 1625 Lake Avenue, Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 A worker was exposed to fall hazards of approximately thirty feet to ground while assisting a co-worker working on the soffits of a two -story single family home being raised and renovated. The worker was working from the gable roof above the second-story without utilizing fall protection. Violation was observed on or about February 11, 2025. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
