29 CFR 1910.119(d)(3)(iii): For existing equipment designed and constructed in accordance with codes, standards, or practices that are no longer in general use, the employer shall determine and document that the equipment is designed, maintained, inspected, tested, and operated in a safe manner. On or about February 01, 2025, at 26100 LA Hwy 405, Plaquemine, LA 70764, employees were exposed to the hazard of chlorine gas through a release out of a seal pot. The seal pot's design was not determined for safety.
