29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: (a) On the cooling tower by the CEP building, located at 14320 SW 70th Ave Rd, Ocala, FL 34473, on or about 1/8/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that employees working on top of an approximately 16.5 ft tall cooling tower were not provided with fall protection.
