29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) Ground level: On or about February 11, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic framing nail guns and circular saws, in that protective eyewear was not provided to employees while operating nail guns at 100 PSI engaged in framing activities.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1): Employer did not ensure that electrical equipment is free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) Ground level: On or about February 11, 2025, the employer failed to inspect all electrical extension cords used to provide power to electric tools employees engaged in framing operations were using, in that the blue extension cord powering the DeWalt reciprocating, circular saws, and battery charger, was damaged. An inspection of these cords was not performed prior to the shift as these cords were not repaired or removed from service. b) Ground level: On or about February 11, 2025, the employer failed to inspect the Jenny Air Compressor for any electrical related hazards, in that the strain relief at the on/off switching mechanism has a damaged strain relief which was not repaired or removed from service before the shift commenced.
