29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(iii):Special hand tools for placing and removing material(s) was not provided to permit easy handling of material without the operator placing a hand in the danger zone. At 3560 Scarlet Oak Blvd, St Louis, MO, 63122, on February 1, 2025, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to caught between hazards from placing hands near a pinch point between two stripper plates being manipulated by a hoist. On February 1, 2025 an employee working with the plates and hoist amputated the tip of their left middle finger after getting it caught between two plates.
