On or about February 24, 2025, at the receiving area. An emergency eye wash station was not provided in the immediate area when employees worked on checking batteries water levels of the power industrial trucks exposing them to corrosive chemicals such as sulfuric acid.   NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR  1910.178(f)(2): The storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas fuel was not in accordance with NFPA Storage and Handling of Liquefied Petroleum Gases (NFPA No. 58-1969), which is incorporated by reference as specified in Sec. 1910.6.  a. At the main office managers' desk area. A merchandise shelf and an APC Symetra LX battery were installed and/or placed in front and below respectively of three electrical panels.   b. At the receiving managers' desk area. A four-door file cabinet, a plastic crate and milk products packages were placed in front of one electrical panel.
