29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees were not provided with eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations present potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: a) On or about February 28, 2025, an employee was exposed to eye injury while operating a pneumatic nail gun without eye protection during carpentry work. b) On or about February 28, 2025, employees were exposed to eye injury while operating a Makita Hypoid Saw without eye protection during carpentry work. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
