29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):The employer did not develop, implement, and maintain at each workplace, a written hazard communication program which described how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200 paragraphs (f), (g), and (h) will be met: a) On or about March 5, 2025, Rescue Spa New York LLC, located at 29 W 19th Street, New York, NY 10003 Employees performing housekeeping tasks use chemical products including but not limited to Brasso Metal Polish containing 1-5% 2-propanol and ammonia, Cavicide wipes containing 2-propanol 17% and ethylene glycol monobutyl ether (1-5%), Clorox Clean up Cleaner with Bleach containing 1-5% sodium hypochlorite and 0.1-1% sodium hydroxide, and Goo Gone Goo Adhesive Remover containing 80-95% petroleum throughout the spa for cleaning purposes. The employer did not develop, implement, or maintain a written hazard communication program at the worksite. NOTE: BECAUSE ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION IS ALREADY DOCUMENTED IN THE CASEFILE, THE EMPLOYER NEED NOT SUBMIT CERTIFICATION NOR DOCUMENTATION OF ABATEMENT OF THIS VIOLATION AS NORMALLY REQUIRED BY 29 CFR 1903.19.
