29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level. a) Homesite 10: On or about March 6, 2025 and times prior, two employees were performing siding installation while working from a pump jack scaffold on a two-story residential structure. The scaffold platform was approximately 15 feet above ground level. The employees were not protected from falling by a guardrail system, personal fall arrest system or other approved means of fall protection, exposing them to a fall hazard of approximately 15 feet. No abatement certification or documentation is required.

29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2):Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary. a) Homesite 10: On or about March 6, 2025 and times prior, two employees were performing siding work from a pump jack scaffold approximately 15 feet above ground level. The pump jack poles were only secured at the top and were not braced at the bottom or other required points, exposing employees to the hazard of scaffold instability and potential collapse. No abatement certification or documentation is required.

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3):Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: a) Homesite 10: On or about March 6, 2025 and times prior, a visible defect was present on the bottom of the left pump jack scaffold pole which was being used by two employees to perform siding installation approximately 15 feet above ground level. The defect had not been identified or corrected by a competent person and the scaffold was in active use at the time of inspection exposing employees to a risk of scaffold failure. No abatement certification or documentation is required.
