Slip-resistant feet shall not be used as a substitute for care in placing, lashing, or holding a ladder that is used upon slippery surfaces including, but not limited to, flat metal or concrete surfaces that are constructed so they cannot be prevented from becoming slippery. a) Parking lot: Ladder was not secured or provided with slip-resistant feet to prevent accidental displacement exposing employees to a fall hazard, on or about 3/6/25. -

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) Parking lot: Employees were exposed to a fall hazard of approximately 16 feet to the ground below, while working at the edge of a flat roof and were not wearing any PFAS or any other means of fall protection in place, on or about 3/6/25.
