29 CFR 1926.50(g): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a. Mixing Area - On or about March 10, 2025, subcontractors from KLB Masonry were mixing mortar which included Portland Cement without access to eyewash facilities, employees were exposed to corrosive hazards. b. Scaffolding - On or about March 10, 2025, subcontractors from KLB Masonry were using mortar which included Portland Cement without access to eyewash facilities, employees were exposed to corrosive hazards. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

29 CFR 1926.51(f)(1): The employer did not provide adequate washing facilities for employees engaged in the application of paints, coating, herbicides, or insecticides, or in other operations where contaminants may be harmful to the employees. Such facilities shall be in near proximity on the worksite and shall be so equipped as to enable employees to remove such substances: a. Mixing Area - On or about March 10, 2025, subcontractors from KLB Masonry were mixing mortar which included Portland Cement without access to adequate washing facilities to include clean dry clean towels and neutral pH soap for cleaning skin contact contamination. b. Scaffolding - On or about March 10, 2025, subcontractors from KLB Masonry were using mortar which included Portland Cement without access to washing facilities to include clean potable water, dry clean towels and neutral pH soap for cleaning skin contact contamination. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
