29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gasses in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tankcars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks was not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965: Loading dock near the maintenance area: On 3/11/25 and at times prior thereto, the storage of all compressed gases in cylinders were not in accordance with the Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965. Three of the four cylinders stored on the ground were not properly supported (secured) to prevent them from being knocked over, and all cylinders on the ground were not protected to prevent rusting. This condition potentially exposed employees who work in the area to fire and struck-by hazards.

29 CFR 1910.253(b)(4)(iii): Oxygen cylinders in storage were not separated from fuel-gas cylinders or combustible materials (especially oil or grease), a minimum distance of 20 feet (6.1 m) or by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 feet (1.5 m) high having a fire-resistance rating of at least one-half hour: Loading dock near the maintenance area: On 3/11/25 and at times prior thereto, two oxygen cylinders were stored adjacent to two acetylene cylinders. This condition potentially exposed employees who work in the area to fire hazards.
