29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  At a temporary jobsite located at 17125 W 168th Place, Olathe, Kansas, employees were exposed to struck-by hazards. Employees were working/walking at the lower level of the structure while other employees were working overhead. Employees on the lower level were not provided with hard hats.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface to which the ladder was used to gain access:  At the jobsites located at 17125 W 168th Place, Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to falls from approximately 12 feet from the eave to the ground below, in that the two aluminum ladders used to access the roof did not extend at least 3 feet above a landing surface.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b):  At the temporary jobsite located at 17125 W 168th Place, Olathe, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet from the floor to  the top of the framing in that fall protection was not provide and/or utilized.  The AJ Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1731994 citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 6-18-2024, with respect to a workplace located at 17769 Shady Bend, Gardner, Kansas, 66030.    The AJ Framing, LLC . was cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1541380, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 9-22-2021, with respect to a workplace located at 3607 W. 158th Terrace, Overland Park, KS 66062.  The AJ Framing, LLC . was cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1588565, citation number 2, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 5-25-2022, with respect to a workplace located at 2420 W. 177th Street, Overland Park, KS 66085.  The AJ Framing, LLC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1614605 citation number 2, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on October 26, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 8440 N. Boardwalk Ave., Kansas City, Missouri, 64154.
