29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs, with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems: a) On or about March 11, 2025, at the worksite, Courtyard at James, 708 James Street, Syracuse, NY 13203: The employer failed to ensure employees installing roofing material on a low-slope roof were protected from falling by use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. Don Carlos Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1650338, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 7, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at 147 Columbia Turnpike, Florham Park, NJ.
