29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: At the jobsite located at 2159 Marc Ave, Andover KS, 67032 employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet 10 inches in that the Gorilla adjustable Ladder was not properly adjusted to the required 3' height above the landing surface. Israel Baca was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1783325, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 03, 2025, with respect to a workplace located at 4782 Ridge Port, Maize KS.
