29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) For the construction site at/near 32100 - 32104 Griffin Sands Lane, San Antonio, FL, on or about 3/14/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that, a ladder used to access the roof of the building under construction only extended approximately 2 feet and 4 inches above the roof edge. The roof edge height was approximately 8.6 feet.
