29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. a) New residential construction located at 2885 Thompson Mill Rd., Buford, GA 30519: On or about 3/17/25, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that hardhats were not provided to employees while transporting framing materials on the ground level to the upper working level working directly below the another employee performing framing operations.

29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that each affected employee used appropriate eye or face protection when exposed to eye or face hazards from flying objects while using a nail gun. a) New residential construction located at 2885 Thompson Mill Rd., Buford, GA 30519: On or about 3/17/25, the employer exposed an employee to struck-by hazards while operating a pneumatic framing nail gun, in that protective eyewear was not provided while operating this tool. The employee was exposed to struck-by hazards which included plastic collated fragments, wood debris, and 3-inch fasteners.
