29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his/her environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Curb work located near the intersection of Carriage Ln. and Hickory Rd., Canton, GA 30155: On or about March 19, 2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards from motor vehicles by failing to implement adequate traffic control measures. Specifically, traffic was not rerouted, blocked, subject to lane closures, or otherwise stopped to protect workers in the area engaged in masonry activities.
