This program assists employees and the employer identifying and avoiding potential hazards such as, but not limited to, falls from heights and the use of personal protective equipment required for assigned job tasks.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system unless another provision in paragraph (b) of this section provides for an alternative fall protection measure. On or about March 19, 2025, the employer working at 707 Christina Court in Findlay, Ohio, did not ensure their employees were equipped with an adequate form of fall protection while performing roofing work. Employees operating in this condition were exposed to fall of approximately 11 ft. to the ground below.
