29 CFR 1926.503(a)(2): The employer did not assure that each employee exposed to fall hazards was trained by a competent person qualified in the areas specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii): a-73, 75, 77, 79, 81 Basswood Street, Berlin NJ: A worker, not using fall protection, was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 25 feet when marking out the locations of roof truss placement and performing other related activities while walking and working from the top plates of a residential townhouse row's exterior wall top plates. The company owner, his sone and their worksite workers had not received fall protection training as specified in 29 CFR 1926.503 (a)(2)(i) through (viii). Condition noted on or about 03/20/25. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
