29 CFR 1910.95(b)(1): When employees were subjected to sound exceeding those listed in Table G-16, feasible administrative or engineering controls were not utilized:  a) Production Shop: Employees operated a Briton automatic screw machines, were exposed to continuous noise levels in excess of the allowable 8 hour time-weighted average sound level (Action Level). The employees' dosimeter DBA level was 176.8%, 175.9%, and 136.7%, of the permissible level  (90 dBA) and was equivalent to approximately 94.1 dBA, 94.0 dBA, and 92.3 dBA.  The sampling was performed for 466, 470, and  455, minutes during one shift on 3/20/25. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time period.  b) Assembly Shop: Employees operated automatic assembly machines, and were exposed to continuous noise levels in excess of the allowable 8 hour-time weighted average sound level (Action Level). The employees' dosimeter DBA level was 171.1% of the  permissible level of (90 dBA) and was equivalent to approximately 93.9 dBA. The sampling was performed for 470 minutes during one shift on 3/20/25. Zero exposure  was assumed for the unsampled time period.

29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent:  a) Production Shop (Screw Machine):  Employees operated a Briton automatic screw machines, were exposed to continuous noise levels in excess of the allowable 8 hour time-weighted average sound level (Action Level). The employees' dosimeter DBA level was 176.8%, 175.9%, 136.7%, and 105.8% of the action level (85dBA) and was equivalent to approximately 94.1 dBA, 94.0 dBA, 92.3 dBA, and 90.4 dBA respectively. The sampling was performed for 466, 470, 455, and 460 minutes respectively, during one work shift on 3/20/25. Zero exposure was assumed for the unsampled time period.   c) Assembly Shop: Employees operated automatic assembly machines, were exposed to continuous noise levels in excess of the allowable 8 hour time-weighted average sound level (Action Level). The employees' dosimeter DBA level was 171.1%, and 64.7% of the action level (85dBA) and was equivalent to approximately 93.9 dBA and 86.9dBA. The sampling was performed for 470 and 467 minutes respectively during one work shift on 3/20/25. Zero exposure  was assumed for the unsampled time period.
