29 CFR  1926.451(f)(6): The clearance between scaffolds and power lines were less than 10 feet:  (a) 65 Pennington St, Newark New Jersey  Employees installing insulation from an aerial lift and scissor lift were allowed to work approximately 2 feet feet from 600V power line exposing employees to electrical hazards.  Elite Brothers Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR  1926.451(f)(6) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1667521, citation 1, item 1 and was affirmed as final order on 12-19-2023.    Violation observed on 03/20/25

29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(v): A body belt was not worn and a lanyard was not attached to the boom or basket while working from an aerial lift:  a) 65 Pennington St, Newark New Jersey  The employer failed to ensure that workers in a JLG aerial lift wore a personal fall arrest system attached to the basket, thereby exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 20 feet.  The employee was using the aerial lift to install insulation on a building under construction.  Elite Brothers Construction LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent 29 CFR  1926.453(b)(2)(v) which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1618227, citation 1, item 1 and was affirmed as final order on 05-01-2023.    Violation occurred 03-20-2025
