29 CFR 1910.132(f)(3)(iii) Inadequacies in an affected employee's knowledge or use of assigned PPE indicate that the employee has not retained the requisite understanding or skill. a) On or about March 20, 2025, employees were required to work with a Pitco Rethermalizer, to prepare foods using a hot water bath kept at approximately 195 degrees Fahrenheit. The employer did not ensure the use of long heat resistant gloves to protect affected employee's hands. Improper glove use exposed the employees to thermal burns.
