Employees were observed working at heights greater than 6 feet to the next lower level without any form of fall protection while installing siding at a residential construction site.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: At a jobsite located at 10286 Sorano Dr., Peculiar, MO 64078 employees were exposed to fall hazards while conducting siding work. Employees were using a portable extension ladder where the side rails did not extend at least 3 feet past the upper landing surface to access/egress the roof while installing siding.
