29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. a) VF7: On or about March 24, 2025, employees were exposed to electrical hazards due to an extension cord without GFCI protection being used on a permanent basis to provide 120 Volt power to a Milwaukee M18 battery charger. b) Baldor Buffer Cat no. 333B: On or about March 24, 2025, employees were exposed to electrical hazards due to an extension cord without GFCI protection being used on a permanent basis to provide 120 Volt power to a Baldor Buffer Cat no. 333B. c) Mill 4: On or about March 24, 2025, employees were exposed to electrical hazards due to an extension cord without GFCI protection being used on a permanent basis to provide 120 Volt power to a Bott-Kennedy workbench. d) Electric Shop Tool Area: On or about March 24, 2025, employees were exposed to electrical hazards due to an extension cord without GFCI protection being used on a permanent basis to provide 120 Volt power to DeWalt and Milwaukee battery chargers .
