29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: (a) On or about March 25, 2025, and at times prior, CRC Roofing and Contracting, Inc. dba CRC-Roofing, as the controlling employer did not ensure that subcontracted employees were protected from falls by ensuring that the portable extension ladder, used to access the roof of the residential home located at 24654 East Quatro Place, Aurora, CO 80011, was extended 3 feet above the landing surface.
