29 CFR 1910.28(b)(5)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee on a runway or similar walkway is protected from falling 4 feet (1.2 m) or more to a lower level by a guardrail system. a) On or about March 27, 2025, at 1000 SW 34th St., Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315, employees accessing and egressing the cargo plane crew door through a SafeRack gangway were exposed to fall hazards; in that, the employer did not ensure that a midrail on the sides of the gangway was present to prevent falls from a 13 ft. elevation onto the concrete pavement.
