29 CFR 1910.132(a): Protective equipment was not provided, when necessary whenever hazards capable of causing injury and impairment were encountered: a. At the facility, on or about March 24, 2025; employees such as, behavioral health associates and nurses, were exposed to bites and lacerations to the arms and hands during routine interactions with patients, in that the employer had not provided personal protective equipment such as bite resistant arm guards/sleeves.
