29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use:  Reference: ANSI Z358.1 Emergency Eyewash and Shower Standard: 5.1.6: Eyewashes shall be capable of delivering flushing fluid to the eyes not less than 1.5 liters per minute (0.4 gpm) for 15 minutes. If shut off valves are installed in the supply line for maintenance purposes, provisions shall be made to prevent unauthorized shut off.  Bldg. 1152:  On or about April 1, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employee(s) handled corrosive chemical(s) while conducting receiving, stocking, repair, cleaning and/or disinfecting tasks. The employer did not ensure employee(s) were provided an eyewash for quick drenching and/or flushing of eyes for 15 minutes due to unexpected exposure to chemicals in the warehouse and/or potential exposure within the employee(s) work area.  This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to eye irritation, corneal abrasion, and/or serious eye damage.

29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1): The employer did not assess the workplace to determine if hazards are present, or are likely to be present, which necessitate the use of personal protective equipment (PPE):  Bldg. 1152:  On or about April 1, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employee(s) conduct assigned tasks in the warehouse where it processes incoming shipments and supplied requested tools, materials, safety supplies, and/or chemicals to civil engineering and/or contractors with on occasion the use of forklift(s).  The employer did not ensure a Hazard Assessment was conducted onsite and was unable to produce upon request the Hazard Assessment that was a systematic process used to identify potential hazards, assess the risks they pose, and evaluate the vulnerabilities that could exacerbate their impact to employee(s). Bldg. 1152:  On or about April 1, 2025 and at times prior thereto, the employer did not ensure a written hazard communication program was in place to ensure that the hazards of all chemicals imported, stored, used and/or distributed from the warehouse were consistent with the provisions of the United Nations Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), Revision 3. The transmittal of information to employee(s) was to be accomplished by means of comprehensive hazard communication program(s), which were to include container labeling and other forms of warning, understanding of pictograms, safety data sheets and employee training/comprehension.   This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to chemical hazard(s).

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical:  Bldg. 1152:  On or about April 1, 2025 and at times prior thereto, employee(s) conduct assigned tasks in the warehouse where it processed incoming shipments and supplied requested tools, materials, safety supplies, and/or chemicals to civil engineering and/or contractors. The employer did not ensure that all chemical products maintained and used on site had an SDS sheet either in paper form and/or available on an electronic data base for employee use upon request that listed the physical and chemical properties, handling and storage instructions, potential health effects, and emergency procedures.  This condition potentially exposed employee(s) to chemical hazard(s).
