29 CFR  1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use [ANSIZ358.1-2004]:    On or about April 7, 2025. Employees used and/or handled corrosive products in the following areas:  a. At the laundry area. Employees used and/or handled Spartan laundry products such as Clorox [sodium hypochlorite].   b. At the housekeeping areas. Employees used and/or handled products such as  Fantastik All Purpose cleaner with bleach [sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide] and HDX All-Purpose cleaner with bleach [sodium hypochlorite].  NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met:   On or about April 7, 2025. The employer did not develop and implement a written hazard communication program to ensure having safety data sheets and containers labeling when employees used and/or handled the following products:  a. At the laundry area. Employees used and/or handled Spartan laundry products such as  Clothesline Fresh Laundry Detergent [C12-16 Alcohols Ethoxylated 7EO], Fabric Softener [Quaternium-27] and Clorox [sodium hypochlorite].   b. At the housekeeping areas. Employees used and/or handled products such as  Fantastik All Purpose cleaner with bleach [sodium hypochlorite and sodium hydroxide]; HDX All-Purpose cleaner with bleach [sodium hypochlorite] and Sprayway glass cleaner [ethanol].  NOTE: Certification and documentation of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c) and (d), respectively.

29 CFR  1910.1200(f)(6)(ii): The employer did not ensure that each container of hazardous chemicals in the workplace was labeled, tagged or marked with the product identifier and words, pictures, symbols, or combination thereof, which provide at least general information regarding the hazards of the chemicals and which, in conjunction with the other information immediately available to employees under the hazard communication program, would provide employees with the specific information regarding the physical and health hazards of the hazardous chemical:   a. On or about April 7, 2025, at the laundry area. The employer did not ensure that a 1-gallon Spartan laundry product container was labeled with the information regarding product identifier and hazards of the chemical.
