OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees due to exposure to caught-between hazards from a crane moving products for assemble. a) On or about April 4, 2025, in the cooker assembly area, the employer failed to ensure employees were kept clear of loads suspended by two cranes. While one employee was positioning a gap gauge inside a cooker shell to verify proper spacing for welding, a suspended load unexpectedly shifted and struck the employee's right hand, resulting in a partial amputation of a finger.
