29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the job site located at 2317 S Covington St, Wichita, KS 67218, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that a written hazard communication program had not been developed and implemented. The chemicals present at the worksite were but not limited to: gasoline, Geocel 2300 Construction Tripolymer Sealant and Kesson Pro Chalk marking chalk. According to the Safety Data Sheets gasoline is extremely flammable liquid and vapor, causes skin irritation, may cause genetic defects. The Geocel 2300 Sealant is a flammable liquid and vapor, cases skin, eye and respiratory irritation and it is suspected to cause cancer.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(1): Employers did not have a safety data sheet in the workplace for each hazardous chemical which they use: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the job site located at 2317 S Covington St, Wichita, KS 67218, employees engaged in roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that they were not provided access to the Safety Data Sheets for gasoline, Geocel 2300 Construction Tripolymer Sealant and Kesson Pro Chalk marking chalk.
