OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to burns from accidental contact with hot steam pipes:  On or about March 7, 2025, to March 11, 2025, at an establishment located at 1226 South Water Street in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, in the 4,400-gallon tank room; the employer did not ensure employees were protected from severe burn hazards from contact with non-insulated or unguarded metal steam pipes servicing the small batch 4,400-gallon tanks. The temperature of the metal pipes and fittings measured up to 243.4 degrees Fahrenheit and was located approximately 6 to 8 inches in front of the tap that employees used daily to get samples from the tanks.
