29 CFR 1926.601(b)(8): Vehicles used to transport employees did not have seats adequate for the number of employees carried: (a) American Ex-POW Memorial Highway Project 88314 - The employer provided a 2020 Ford F450 truck (referred to as the M&P truck, employer vehicle number 152803) from which employees installed and removed temporary traffic control devices in a highway work zone. This motor vehicle did not have seats adequate for the number of employees carried in that one employee rode standing on the truck's bed, and two employees rode standing in a rear-mounted basket, on or about April 14, 2025. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
