29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1)(i): Each platform unit (e.g., scaffold plank, fabricated plank, fabricated deck, or fabricated platform) was not installed so that the space between adjacent units and the space between the platform and the uprights were no more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) wide, except where the employer can demonstrate that a wider space is necessary. a) New residential construction located on Lot #34 at 3769 Jonesboro Road, Hampton, GA 30228: On or about April 15, 2025, the employer exposed employees to trip/fall hazards to the makeshift scaffold system, in that the work platform was not fully planked and large spaces in the working platforms created a hazard while engaged in masonry activities.

29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) New residential construction located on Lot #34 at 3769 Jonesboro Road, Hampton, GA 30228, Lower roof: On or about April 15, 2025, the employer exposed employees to falls of 9-feet, 9-inches to the lower ground level, in that complete and adequate fall protection systems were not provided to employees engaged in masonry work on a 3/12 pitched roof.
