29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1):Each employee on a scaffold more than 10 feet above a lower level was not protected from falling to that lower level. a) 106 W. Beardsley Ave. Long Beach, NJ: An employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately thirty feet to the ground below. The employee was installing siding from a pump jack scaffold and not protected against falls by personal fall protection or a complete netting system. Observed on or about 04/17/25. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.452(j)(2):Poles were not secured to the structure by rigid triangular bracing or equivalent at the bottom, top, and other points as necessary. a) 106 W. Beardsley Ave. Long Beach, NJ: Employees were exposed to a structure collapse from a Alum-A-Pole pump jack scaffold. Employees were working at a height of approximately thirty feet from a pump jack scaffold that was improperly assembled. The jack was missing the required bottom braces. Observed on or about 04/17/25 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
