29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, and flying chips: a) On or about April 23, 2025, at Building 18377 located at 18377 NE 4TH CT, MIAMI, FL 33179, an employee was exposed to caught by and amputation hazards while cutting metal with a Rigid Miter sliding saw (Serial number unknown) that had a defective self retracting guard on its blade. OCEAN DYNAMICS U.S.A., INC. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.213(g)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1753545, Citation Number 1, Item Number 5 and was affirmed as a final order on 01/7/2025, with respect to a workplace located at at Building 18377 located at 18377 NE 4TH CT, MIAMI, FL 33179
