Location: Front of residential home @ 1883 Highland Ave. Fall River, MA On or about 04/24/25 employees were working from a ladder jack scaffold that was near the house powerline. Employees or materials were exposed with coming in contact with the powerline.

29 CFR 1926.451(g)(1)(i): Each employee on a boatswains' chair, catenary scaffold, float scaffold, needle beam scaffold, or ladder jack scaffold shall be protected by a personal fall arrest system. (A) Each employee was not protected as required. Location: Front side of existing residential home @ 1883 Highland Ave. Fall River, MA On or about 04/24/25 employees were exposed to falls of more than 10 feet while working from a ladder jack scaffold and fall protection was not used. The R&L Whitman Construction was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1749397, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 07/25/24, with respect to a workplace located at 794 New London Turnpike, Warwick, RI.
