29 CFR  1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, were not protected by protective helmets:  a) On the residential roof on the site located at 1502 Compton St, Brandon, FL: On or about 04/24/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that, hardhats were not worn by employees working on the ground in areas where shingles were thrown to the ground.

29 CFR  1926.102(a)(1): The employer did not ensure employees used eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents:  a) On the residential roof on the site located at 1502 Compton St, Brandon, FL: On or about 04/24/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that, safety glasses were not being worn while employees were using nail guns on the roof.  b) On the residential roof on the site located at 1502 Compton St, Brandon, FL: On or about 04/24/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that, safety glasses were not being worn while employees were using saws on the roof.

29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On the residential roof on the site located at 1502 Compton St, Brandon, FL: On or about 04/24/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards, in that, fall protection was not utilized by employees while tearing off shingles on a 6 in 12 pitched (vertical to horizontal) roof that had a fall height of approximately 9 ft. 1 in. to the ground.
