29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Front Lower Roof Access Ladder- On or about April 25, 2025, an employee was exposed to a fall hazard of approximately ten (10) feet, two (2) inches from a portable ladder used to access the roof that was not extended at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface. The Quality Superior Contractors LLC was previously cited under a different company name, Quality Superior Construction LLC, for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1744717, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on August 16, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1024 Sparrow Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
