29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): A) On or about April 30, 2025, three employees performing framing work on a residential home were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b) while working near the second floor leading edge that had a fall distance of as much as 13' to the next lower level. B) On or about April 30, 2025, three employees performing framing work on a residential home were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b) while working near the second floor to first floor stair hole opening that had a fall distance of as much as 8' to the next lower level. C) On or about April 30, 2025, three employees performing framing work on a residential home were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system or personal fall arrest system, nor were employees provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b) while working near the first floor to basement stair hole opening that had a fall distance of as much as 9' to the next lower level. RE Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1771802, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 9-10-2024, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 253 on Emerald Isle Court, Wrightstown, WI 54180.
