29 CFR  1960.8(a)):  The Agency head did not furnish employment and a place of employment to each employee that were free from recognized hazards that caused or were likely to cause death or serious physical harm:   a)  7700 Canyon Ferry Rd, Helena MT:  On or about April 21, 2025, and at times prior, the employer did not provide a place of employment free from recognized hazards in that employees were exposed to chemical hazards from exposure to hexavalent chromium during a subcontractor stainless steel welding project. The employer failed to ensure to ensure that employees working around hexavalent chromium were evaluated to determine their exposure to the chemical.
