29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds shall be fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii): a) New residential construction located on homesite #30 at Continental Drive, McDonough, GA 30252, left side of the structure: On or about 05/01/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 16-feet, 11-inches to the lower level, in that a fully planked work platform on scaffold system was not provided to employees engaged in masonry activities.

29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms are more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from another scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface shall be used. Cross braces shall not be used as a means of access. a) New residential construction located on homesite #30 at Continental Drive, McDonough, GA 30252, left side of the structure: On or about 05/01/2025, the employer exposed an employee to falls up to 16-feet, 11-inches to the lower level, in that a safe means of access to the work platform on the welded tubular scaffold system was not provided.
