When wet processes are used, drainage must be maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats must be provided. 29 CFR 1910.22(d)(2): Hazardous conditions on walking-working surfaces are corrected or repaired before an employee uses the walking-working surface again. If the correction or repair cannot be made immediately, the hazard must be guarded to prevent employees from using the walking-working surface until the hazard is corrected or repaired; and On or about May 12, 2025 in Claremont, NH. The uneven walking working surfaces that were not repaired were not guarded to prevent employees from being exposed to a trip hazard. Instance 1: On or about May 12, 2025 in the grill area. The floor had a approximately 31 inch by 244 inch by .75 inch deep section of the floor removed creating a depression and trip hazard. Instance 2: On or about May 12, 2025 in the back hall. The floor had a approximately 28.75 inch by 46 inch by .75 inch sheet of metal secured on top of the floor, covering a hole.
