29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: (a) Jobsite at 1231 Washington Street, Naperville, IL 60540 - On or about May 7, 2025, the employer did not ensure that employees exposed to falls of 14.4 feet while engaged in roofing activities used a form of fall protection. Abatement documentation is not required of this item. LMG Roofing Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1742921, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 25, 2024, with respect to a jobsite located at 506 Westgate Road, Deerfield, IL 60015.

Washington Street, Naperville, IL 60540 - On or about May 7, 2025, the portable ladder used by employees to access and egress the roof of the house was not extended to have the side rails extend at least three (3) feet above the upper landing thereby exposing them to falls of 14 feet to next lower level. Abatement documentation is not required for this item. LMG Roofing Construction, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.1053(b)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1742921, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on July 25, 2024, with respect to a jobsite located at 506 Westgate Road, Deerfield, IL 60015.
