29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about 05/08/2025 at the site located at 24 North Beaver Street, Jordan, NY: Employees were exposed to caught in hazards from rotating parts inside the Multiwire Annealer opening when operating the Multiwire Annealer. b) On or about 05/08/2025 at the site located at 24 North Beaver Street, Jordan, NY: Employees were exposed to caught in hazards from rotating parts when operating Respooler Machine Serial # 70116. IWG Omega Wire DBA International Wire Group, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.212(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number1656539, citation number 1, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/15/2023 , with respect to a workplace located at 572 State Route 13, Williamson, NY 14589 .
