29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1): Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Residential construction work site at 512 Grand Magnolia St., McDonough, GA lot 47: On or about May 13, 2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of approximately 9.5 feet to the ground level, in that 2 portable extension ladders side rails did not extend at least 3 feet above the upper landing surface of the roof for employees laying shingles.
