29 CFR 1926.1101(k)(2)(ii): The building and/or facility owner(s) did not notify prospective employers, tenants, employees of the owner, and all employers of employees who would be performing work within adjacent areas of the presence, location, and quantity of asbestos containing material or presumed asbestos containing material, at the work sites in their buildings and facilities in writing, or a personal communication between the owner and the person to whom notification must be given or their authorized representatives: At a worksite located at 1300 Woodrail Avenue, Columbia, MO 65203: Employees of contractors were exposed to toxic or hazardous materials in the form of asbestos. This occurred on or about May 14, 2025, and at times prior to when contractor(s) performing demolition/remodeling work removed materials from the owners facility that was determined to be asbestos containing material. The employer failed to notify its employees, and all employers of employees who would be performing work within adjacent areas of the presence, location, and quantity of asbestos containing material or presumed asbestos containing material, at the work site. The owner did not produce a notification in writing, or a personal communication between the owner and the person to whom notification must be given or their authorized representatives.
